I am pleased to present Galway County Councils website www.galway.ie. The site is intended to build upon our Customer Service commitments through improved access to our business units. Visitors to the Website will be able to access information, download application forms, and generally be more informed in doing their business with the Council.
We are taking advantage of this opportunity by publishing as much information as possible about Galway County Council on the Site in a manner that is increasingly interactive i.e. various on-line Application Forms , Licence and Grant Forms. Use of the website has increased significantly in recent years, in particular the use of the planning system which is one of the best available through any local authority in the country. In addition we are investing in website improvements to ensure accessibility for people with a disability.
