Integrated Walking and Cycling Strategy for the County of Galway
Funding has been allocated by the Department of Transport to Galway County Council under the Smarter Travel Project Fund to facilitate the Council in developing an Integrated Walking & Cycling Strategy for the County of Galway and to deliver a number of pilot projects. Energy Efficiency in Historic/Traditional Buildings From the 1st January 2009 a Building Energy Rating (BER) assessment is required for the sale or letting of an existing building. Protected Structures, proposed Protected Structures, buildings protected under the National Monuments Acts, and buildings used as places of worship are exempt from the requirements of these regulations.
