Galway National Roads Design Office, in conjunction with Galway County Council, Mayo County Council and the National Roads Authority, would welcome your comments in relation to the proposed route corridors for the N17 Tuam to Claremorris Road Scheme.

M17 Galway to Tuam
This site provides information on the M17 Galway (Rathmorrissy) to Tuam scheme. The proposed motorway is 25.5 km long and will stretch from Rathmorrissy in the South to the existing N17 Galway to Tuam road in the North where it will join the proposed Tuam Bypass. There will be 28 new structures including overbridges, underbridges, river bridges across the Abbert and Grange Rivers, culverts and farm accommodation structures. A motorway service area is also proposed as part of the scheme.

From May 28th to June 25, an information roadshow for people starting their own business will be touring the major towns in County Galway in conjunction with Chambers of Commerce, Enterprise Ireland and the Galway County and City Enterprise Board. In accordance with Section 24(4) of the Planning & Development Acts 2000-2006, the West Regional Authority hereby give notice of Draft Regional Planning Guidelines for the West Region 2010 - 2022. The Draft Regional Planning Guidelines have been prepared in accordance with the Planning & Development Acts 2000-2006, the Planning & Development (Regional Planning Guidelines) Regulations 2009 and the Planning & Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004. The West Region covers the administrative areas of Roscommon County Council, Mayo County Council, Galway County Council and Galway City Council.
