The focus of the BRU is to make it easier for those in business to work with Galway County Council

The Business Response Unit offers

  1. A Single Point of Contact for Business within Galway County Council.
  2. Business Intelligence including Demographic statistics, Research facilities and GIS mapping for Enterprise.
  3. A referral Service to the enterprise support agencies in County Galway including; Enterprise Ireland, Failte Ireland,  FAS, Galway County and City Enterprise Board, IDA Ireland, Udaras na Gaeltachta, and the Local Rural Development Companies. We advise business promoters on what support agencies they should talk to and what they need to have ready when they approach these agencies.  
  4. Information on Planning, Environmental, Water & Waste Services, Roads and Community issues relevant to enterprise. 
  5. Information on EU Legislation/Directives and Funding.
