HERITAGE GRANTS SCHEME 2010

Notice is hereby given of Galway County Council Heritage Grants Scheme2010. The objective of the Heritage Grant Scheme is to promote interest,education, knowledge, and pride in, and to facilitate appreciation andenjoyment of the heritage of County Galway.

Applications are invited from projects which benefit or relate to at least one of the aspects of heritageas set out in the Heritage Act, 1995. Heritage is defined as including:monuments, archaeological objects, heritage objects, architectural heritage,flora, fauna, wildlife habitats, landscapes, seascapes, wrecks, geology,heritage parks and gardens and inland waterways.
