Housing Loans

A Council housing loan is an amount of money provided by the Council, for a fixed period, for a specific purpose, i.e. house improvement. The loan, together with interest is repaid to the Council at agreed intervals, i.e. weekly/ monthly. Depending on the amount of the loan, a legal charge may be placed on your property as security.
