Do I qualify?
If you are in need of housing and unable to provide it from your own resources, you may apply for Local Authority housing, by completing and submitting the Local Authority Housing Application Form.
The income limits applicable to social housing are as follows:
Single-Income Household: Gross Income in previous tax year must not exceed €40,000
Two-Income Household: 2.5 times the principal earners gross income in previous tax year plus the subsidiary earners income in last tax year must not exceed €100,000.
In assessing your application, the Council will take into account other factors such as household size, household income, your present accommodation (if any), the condition of that accommodation and any special circumstances including age, disability, medical circumstances etc.
