My Library - Martinez
![]() |
During my adolescence, librarians seemed to me extensions of God, heirs of an inexhaustible knowledge. Almost all of my education comes, not from university texts, but from the books I borrowed from Sarmiento Public Library in Tucumán when I was between 11 and 18 years old. Every morning I returned the book which I had borrowed the day before and the librarian always set aside for me an amazingly new book. Tomás Eloy Martínez |
