Significant Further Information Guideline
When applicants respond to a Further Information Request the reply may be considered to contain Significant Further Information. If this has not been specifically stated in the Further Information Request then applicants will be informed by the Planning Authority in due course if the reply is considered to contain Significant Further. Where it is the opinion of the Planning Authority that the reply contains Significant Further Information then the provisions of Article 35 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2008 will apply and the relevant newspaper notice and site notice must be provided. It is preferable to the Planning Authority if the newspaper advert is published and site notice erected the same day as the reply is submitted.
