The N17 N!8 Goert to Tuam scheme forms part of the Western Corridor Route which runs from Waterford through Cork, Limerick Galway Sligo and Letterkenny as shown on the attached map.
The N17 N18 Gort To Tuam scheme will be built as a non tolled PPP scheme. The route of the road will pass through 4 engineering areas in County Galway namely Gort, Oranmore , Loughrea and Tuam as shown on the attached plan.

This site provides information on the N6 Galway City Outer Bypass scheme. The project is being undertaken by Galway County Council on its own behalf and on behalf of Galway City Council in accordance with agreements made under Section 85 of the Local Government Act 2001 and approved by the National Roads Authority under Section 14(8) of the Roads Act 1993.
