REGIONAL PLANNING GUIDELINES FOR THE WEST REGION 2010 – 2022.

The new Guidelines replace the 2004-2016 Regional Planning Guidelines for the West Region. 

The Regional Planning Guidelines (RPGs) provide the strategic regional mechanism for the implementation of the National Spatial Strategy in the four Local Authority Areas of Galway City Council, Galway County Council, Mayo County Council and Roscommon County Council.  The Guidelines provide a planning framework for the future physical, economic and social development of the West Region.
