The project will improve water capacity and security of the water supply through the replacement of the old watermain system and the installation of a new watermain network within the town.  A new sewer system will also be constructed, which will  reduce infiltration through the provision of separate foul and surface water sewers. The installation of core essential services such as broadband, gas, telecom and ESB will enhance the attractiveness of Tuam for future businesses.
