Draft Litter Management Plan 2023 - 2025

Galway County Council intends to replace its existing Litter Management Plan. A draft plan for the management of litter in County Galway for the next 3 years is currently available for public consultation. Your feedback is important to this process, and we look forward to hearing from you. All submissions will be considered before the plan is finalised.
Copies of the draft plan are available for viewing at the Environment Section, Centrepoint, Liosbaun Industrial Estate, at all Council Area Offices and Branch Libraries, or at the Galway County Council website: www.galway.ie
Submissions/Observations:
Galway County Council hereby invites any interested parties to make submissions or observations regarding the Draft Litter Management Plan 2023-2025, electronically via the website or in writing to the Environment Department between Friday the 12 May 2023 until Friday 26 May 2023 (both dates inclusive). The deadline for receipt of all submissions is 4.30pm on Friday 2nd June 2023
In respect of making a submission or observation please note the following: -
- Galway County Council is subject to the provisions of the Data Protection Act (as amended) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In order to assist us in complying with Data Protection and GDPR please include your name and contact details (and where relevant, details of any organisation, community group or company etc., which you represent), on a separate sheet to the content of your submission/ observation.This processing of your personal data is lawful under Article 6 (1)(e) of the GDPR regulations. The Environment Data Protection Policy is available on the Council website.
Submissions or observations may be made either:
(a) In writing to: Environment Department, Galway County Council, Áras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, Galway, H91 H6KX (Correspondence to be marked Draft Litter Management Plan 2023 - 2025)
or
(b) In electronic format on the dedicated website at https://consult.galway.ie
Please make your submission by one medium only i.e., in hard copy or via the website.
The deadline for receipt of all submissions is 4.30pm on Friday 2nd June 2023
