Maigh Cuilinn LAP

This Local Area Plan is a land use plan and overall strategy for the development of Maigh Cuilinn over the period 2013-2023. This Plan shall have effect from the date of adoption by the members of Galway County Council and shall cease to have effect at the expiration of 6 years from that date, unless the timeframe is extended by resolution in accordance with Section 12 (d) to (f) of the Planning and Development (Amendment) Act 2010. The successful implementation of the plan will have a positive impact on Maigh Cuilinn ensuring it develops in a sustainable manner, and will also complement the implementation of the current Galway County Development Plan.

Maigh Cuilinn Local Area Plan - 26th February 2018 - Deferral of Notice (March 2018)
That pursuant to Section 19 (1) (d) of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as inserted by Section 12 (a) (iii) of the Planning & Development (Amendment) Act 2010), the Council resolves to defer the sending of a notice under Section 20 (3) (a) (i) of the Act of 2000 and publishing a notice under Section 20 (3) (a) (ii) for a period not exceeding 5 years.
