Galway County Council – Community Response - Major Emergency Updated Monday 10th February 2025
Power, Water and Communications outages continue to pose serious challenges within Galway County specifically.
Significant collaboration continues between all the response agencies to prioritise restorative planning.
Emergency Response Hubs to assist people with basic needs such as water, hot food, phone charging, broadband access and shower & toilet facilities continue to be set up in partnership with local community groups and businesses, and currently facilities are available at the following locations
