Domestic Lead Remediation Grants
Description of Service
The Domestic Lead Remediation (Financial Assistance) Regualtions 2016 (S.I. 56 of 2016 were signed into law on 5th Feb 2016 and provide for a means tested grant to be paid in certain circumstances where lead service pipes are found at domestic premises. Alongside this scheme Irish Water is committing to replace any lead service piping on the public side by availing of the Customer Opt-In Lead Pipe Replacement Scheme which is available by clicking here.

Appeals Process
You can appeal a decision to the: Administrative Officer, Water Services Section.
