Applications are invited from Community and Voluntary “not for profit” Groups for the Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) 2020 which provides funding to enhance community amenities and facilities, particularly those in disadvantaged areas.   The funding covers capital projects only and Galway County Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has been allocated an amount of €63,249 under the above Programme.  Individual grants will generally be modest in nature - €1,000 or less – and the main priority for the Fund will be the re-opening of community facilities, i.e. capital expenditure on adaptations or equipment needed as a result of COVID-19.   

Applicants must submit a completed Applications Form and supporting documentation on or before the closing date by (a) e-mailing a signed scanned version to communitygrants@galwaycoco.ie OR (b) posting it to Community Grants, Economic, Rural and Community Development Department, Galway County Council, Áras an Chontae, Prospect Hill, Galway
